My name is Kelly Simmons, and I am a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Central Michigan University. I am committed to creating safe, empowering spaces for clients and families, with a focus on advocacy and trauma-informed care.

I have experience providing outpatient and home-based services to children and adults, including trauma-informed groups such as Seeking Safety and AIMS. I have worked with clients experiencing trauma, behavioral concerns, crisis, and addiction, using interventions such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, play-based therapy, and grounding techniques.

I also value collaboration with families and service providers, including schools, medical and psychiatric professionals, and legal systems, to support comprehensive care. I prioritize empathy, active listening, crisis intervention, and client-centered goal setting.

I look forward to supporting and empowering you in a safe, collaborative environment as you work toward your goals and improved quality of life.

Kelly is seeing clients at no charge for a limited time only.
